The Benefits Tamer serves the life and health insurance needs of the American worker, from the lunchroom to the boardroom. Our workplace market enables us to satisfy the needs of employees in a way that is convenient and economical for both the employee and the employer. Similar to insurance purchased through traditional methods, insurance purchased through the workplace is typically individually owned and portable. In addition it is usually easier to apply for with no medical exams and limited medical questions to answer on the application. We offer products from some of the leading companies dedicated to the concept of premium payment through payroll deduction. Employers are receptive to the concept of offering voluntary insurance products that require no minimum participation. In addition to providing employers a way to offer voluntary insurance products while controlling employee benefit costs, we also have the opportunity to offer employees access to products previously unattainable. Electronic enrollments make applying for insurance easy for both the employee and the employer. This software, via laptop computer, can integrate our products with other employee benefits an employer might provide. This creates awareness among the employees of some of the non-salaried benefits the employer provides while documenting the employers' communication of benefits.

Supplemental cancer insurance benefits can be used to help pay the difference between what primary medical coverage pays and the total costs (medical and non-medical) of care. There are a variety of cancer policies from which to choose. Some policies have benefits that closely match today's methods of treating cancer. Some provide benefits for cancer plus up to 20 other specified diseases. Some indemnity plans including a significant first occurrence benefit. Plans are generally available in multiple benefit levels to suit individual and family needs. An optional Return of Premium Rider may be available as well.

Critical Illness: As medical technologies and treatments improve, more people are able to survive critical illnesses yet the rate of consumer debt has also risen. A Critical Illness policy pays a lump sum benefit upon the diagnosis of a covered serious illness. In addition, it can help meet the mounting debts that often occur during and after a serious illness. Some examples of a serious illness are Heart Attack, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and Alzheimer's Disease. A critical illness policy has portable benefits and no reduction of benefits after insured reaches a certain age. In addition, equal benefit amounts are available for each family member when the employees buy family coverage. Critical Illness insurance may be right for you if your family is caring for children or aging parents, you are a professional in an industry where disability coverage is unavailable or unaffordable, or if you are otherwise worried about your finances being able to survive a critical illness.
